Tonight our son-n-law Jared graduated from Lone Star Baptist College with a Bachelor of Science-Pastoral Theology degree. Not only that but he was valedictorian! We are so proud of Jared! I know this last year was not easy. Keeping up with his studies, running a bus route that runs 2 buses during the campaigns, working a full-time job, being newly married and now soon to be dad! He has accomplished so much! God has been so good to him and has been with him every step of the way!
We look forward to what God has for them in their futures. As of right now, he will be starting deputation part-time to raise support to go to the Philippins and start a children's home. Knowing they will be so far away is a thought I do not entertain but when it does pop up in my mind it's comforting knowing they will be doing what God wants them to do! What a priviledge it is to serve the Lord!
Please be in prayer for them as they have lots to do in the upcoming months including the arrival of our grandbaby, Gabriella! :)
