Family Conference 2012

Our church held its yearly family conference last week, March 28th-31st.  Our theme was taken from Hebrews 11:7.  "Preparing an ark to the saving of my house".  Our guest preacher was Pastor Alex Ramirez from Cuernavaca, Mexico.  What a tremendous blessing he and his wife were to our conference.
As always when we are busy doing God's work and or trying to help others, the devil seems to be around the corner to put obsticles or henderances in our way to make things difficult.  Such was the case in the preparation of our conference.  Every day was begun in pray ending with "I don't know how all will get done but all is in Your hands Lord!"  God is so good and it was amazing how the Lord stretched the hours of the days so that I could get things done, keep up with normal office responsibilities and of course my home.  The ladies of my church were such a blessing to bring my family and I meals for the week so that I didn't have to worry about cooking.
So many of our people sacrificed in giving financially and gave many hours in preparing for this conference.  My prayer is that the Lord will bless them richly!

  1. Wow! It looks like it was a really great Conference... well attended... and I was especially impressed with the number of workers! "Many hands make light work" is one of my all-time favorite phrases, and I can see that a lot of your church people worked hard to help lighten your load. Praise the Lord!
