Sunday evening we celebrated our church's anniversary! We had a full house and a full evening! All the adults and teens received a keychain with the church's name, phone number and our Pastor's name and the children received a toy. All our music groups sang throughout the whole service which was a great blessing! (I love music!) We then had a time where each Sunday School class came up to the platform and presented gifts to the church. These are gifts that the church can use such as nursery supplies, cleaning supplies, gift cards etc. Our Pastor preached a message on what his desire was for our church. We ended the service with singing "Happy Anniversary" and had balloons, a lite cake and a meal to end it all. We had a great time!
I love my church! Someone asked me once if I get tired of being so busy in the ministry. Sure there are times I get physically tired and need a break or two but I love serving the Lord and doing for our church! There's no greater occupation than serving Him!
